Activity 1
displacing kerosine with solar lamps
The project seeks to replace kerosine lanterns used in the town with solar lamps. This will mitigate the carbon emmissions from kerosine lamps, provide light for the women to practise weaving which is their mail stay and allow the children bright healthy clean light to do their home work. everyone is the better for it and this cannot happen without carbon credit
Activity 2
Solar power generation for university town
provision of solar power Plant for AAU University Edo state to generate electricty for the university community and host communities and villages. this project will not ever happen because the best would be electricity from the national grid which is presently eractic being stable- not likely soon and the university will continue to run disel generators. the study atmosphere will be enhanced so will be technology and reseach. The host communities will experience growth in population economy and better living standards
Activity 3
Reforestation in Edo State reserves
To plant trees in major forest reserves in Edo State. This project will displace carbon by producing emmisiions that counter CO2. It will also beautify the environment and provide livelihood for local communities
