Activity 1
2X25MW Biomass Power
This project used biomass residues to generate electricity. All governmental approvals have been got. IRR will be about 15-20%. It needs initial investment of 50 millions USD.
Activity 2
16X0.5MW Biogas project
This project use animal waste to generate gas and electrictiy.
This project needs investment of 20 millions USD. All the government approvals have been got.
Activity 3
a 12 MW biomass project
At present, the project owner has a coal power plant, with one 12 MW electrical engine and one 75t/h boiler.
The proposed project uses straw to replace coal as the fired fuel of this power plant, which is located in Henan province, where there are abundant of biomass residues. The project will use about 94,000 tons of biomass residues each year, which would otherwise be left to decay or be burned in the open air.
The main purposes of the project activity are:
- to contribute to sustainable development of regional electricity without causing any negative impact on the environment;
- to assist in climate change mitigation.
Feasibility Study and EIA have been finished and all government approvals have been got.
