Activity 1
CarbonSoft Open Source PoA, LED Lighting Distribution: Oceania
The main aim of the project is replacement of fossil fuels used for lighting purposes in the Sumatra region of Indonesia with LED lamps. The LED lamps will lead to abatement of GHG emissions, which would have occurred due to the combustion of fossil fuels. Also by replacing such lamps with LED lamps, households are effectively saving money, which would have been spent on the purchase of fuel for the lamp.
